Capitol Police will open field offices in California and Florida to investigate threats against lawmakers

Six months after the deadly January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol by supporters of former President Trump, the Capitol Police Department has announced it will open field offices in California and Florida as it investigates an increasing number of threats made against members of Congress.
