Fewer than 30% of Iran’s youth were expected to vote in Friday’s election. They are disillusioned and scornful of the lineup of hardline candidates. But that doesn’t mean the young don’t have political aspirations and opinions. But as senior foreign correspondent Elizabeth Palmer reports, they tend to voice them on largely banned social media platforms — not at the ballot box.
